Hi, I'm Amy. I have lived in a few different states in my thirty-something years, but I no matter where I live, I am a California girl, through and through. That means you'll never hear me call a "soda" a "pop", omit "the" when I am mentioning a freeway (i.e. "Take the 55 to the 355") and no one will ever understand me when I say the name "Don." This is the only place I've ever lived where people make fun of MY accent. I don't hold a grudge. I love my new home, and I will not be swayed. :)
I juggle my time between work, going to college part-time and my recent ventures into direct selling. I love to read and have been known to stalk...ahem...support some of my favorite authors at book readings. I love to travel and my goal is to visit every state at some point. I love musicals and plays (Wicked: if you're reading this please, Please, PLEASE come back to Chicago!!), and any opportunity that gets me out to the city.
Last but not least, I love wine. I mean I really, really love wine. And wine loves me. A lot. If you look in the upper left corner of my photo you will see a stray eyebrow, this belongs to my boyfriend Tim, he loves wine too. I have a crazy dog named Hippo, and I am the proudest ex-step-mom of the best ex-step-daughter anyone could hope to have.
Life. It can be complicated, but I am determined to enjoy it.
